Jambu Air / Jambu Madu..

dah boleh petik.. besttt rangup & manis..
boleh gak mkn cicah kicap.. org T'ganu kata mkn 'collek'
Awal bulan baru ni masa cuti hari buruh kami sekeluarga balik kampong MaDiHa di Pahang (sempadan Johor). Kebetulan pokok jambu ma berbuah lebat dan buahnya dah boleh dipetik. So apalagi.. sebelum petik.. posinglah dulu... Rasanya manis dan juicy.. tak rasa kelat langsung. Makan macam tu pun sedappp... takyah cicah2...

Selain buah jambu air.. buah salak pun ada.. tp gambar ambil guna digital camera.. MaDiHa tak reti nak reduce size.. (boleh sesiapa ajarkan macamana nak reduze size masa transfer ke PC tak?) so agak susah bila nak update sebab saiz gambarnya agak besar. Gambar2 jambu tu guna kamera handphone jer...

Jambu Air ( Syzygium equem (Burm.) f. Alston )

Family:
Myrtaceae

Distribution:
Grown widely in South India and Borneo Island.
Widely found in South East Asia and Peninsular Malaysia.

Nutritious / Nutriment:
Contains a lot of water and vitamin A, which can be found on the skin.
Cannery or fruit salad.
Fresh Cut.

Flowering / Fruiting:
Non-seasonal. fruiting throughout the year.
Heavy flowering and harvesting three times in a year from March - April, May - June and Octover - November.

Propagation:
Seeding for fruits with seed, but the disadvantage is that it is low in fruiting.
Marcotting and stem cutting.
